Video game magazines and strategy guides were once one of the best parts about gaming. It is only natural that overtime they would be supplanted by websites like GameFaqs and ultimately YouTube. today.
A goal of mine has always been to make the information in Nintendo Power available to all people interested in playing retro games.
This is a project I started in my teen years; I have currently cataloged and indexed Nintendo Power from the first issue up to 1995-1996.
This index covers when a game was featured, appeared in Counselor’s Corner and when it appeared in Classified Information at a minimum. I would like to extend it to include any game mentioned anywhere in the future and to include the full run of Nintendo Power as I only have about 14 or so years left to cover.
